Synopsis: Yuzu Hodaishi is a hardworking young woman who is struggling to find a decent job. After a year of searching, she is eventually hired by a food company in Meiwa and is transferred to the head office in Osaka to work in the PR department. Adapting to this new life proves difficult; however, she is assigned a project to write a magazine article for Meiwa Yogurt’s 50th anniversary. During this time, Yuzu Hodaishi discovers a novel about yogurt and becomes a big fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus featured in the novel. Unbeknownst to her, a lactobacillus bulgaricus named I jumps out of a yogurt package and follows her as an invisible presence.
