As Jisoo so astutely put it, ‘It wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t that good either.’ The real crime? Making us suspect the husband in every case, only to find out he’s just a red herring. Not quite villain material, huh? Despite the plot zigzagging like a drunken detective, I must admit, the cast delivered stellar performances. Bravo to them for keeping us hooked through the chaos!” ……., finished :
imo the last half of this final episode is a waste of time. it should end with the husband & father-in-law going to jail. i do not care for the clingy detective’s never ending love for the FL. and I do not appreciate that the FIL is find not guilty at his first hearing. after 3 years he’s still not in jail, then he has it good and should pray to all the Gods he knows to keep him healthy so that he could go to jail one fine day. all in all what i only like in this mundane drama is the cute little girl at the ending.
everybody is a film critic here😃😃still everybody watched it. i think the actors did all they could. yes itwas frustrating but i think they worked hard. honestly i watched it because of the ML .other then that ..well done ,lets see you all in a better project next time
This drama was just OK. I finished watching it and that’s it. It’s like one of those TV shows that once you get started you follow it through to the end. I’ve seen all the actors in other dramas and I have my favorites. Kim Ha Neul is one of my favorites. I’ve seen the two male leads in other drams and I like them both. The Father in law is one of those actors that mostly plays bad guys. He’s good at it. The little girl at the end is very adorable and that made me smile. See ya around everyone.
He was deprived from love from all the people who he loved, would you stay loyal to someone who doesn’t love you? An emotional void is created and that’s when an affair starts. An emotional affair is just has bad has a physical one may we be reminded that she kept a photo of her ex bf in her home office throughout her marriage 🙄 faithful she was. She only cared about her work. The murder as kis was an accident that could have happened to anyone and is father chose to keep quit and he lived with that guilt his entire life (not like he forgot about it and happily moved on). He’s a good man victim of the circumstances and used by the people he loved. Only person who might genuinely love him, might be his daughter…
friends all i have to saw is see ya all next week for dare to love me
here is my take.. this was a mish mash of all things some where in between episodes i felt they wanted to create a love angle between the detective and the journalist tbh i have never liked the detective in the first place.
over all i would rate this as 3/5
Weirdly, the ending was the best part of this drama. I am surprised to say this, especially since I thought and still think this is one of my worst experiences in K-drama. None of the actors or actresses did justice to their roles except perhaps Han Chae Ah as Yoo Yoon Young. She made me hate her. The other was Mi So, Seo Jung Won, and Seol Jae Woo’s little girl. She was adorable; she stole the show. Everybody else was a mess, even Kim Ha Neul; she was at her worst as Seo Jung Won. It’s sad, as she is a gifted actor. I can’t put all the blame on the actors. They didn’t have much to work with in the story-telling, the directing, or the editing. An actor is only as good as the storyteller and director, and both could have done better. The drama had potential; it might have been a big hit with another writer, director, or even actors.
I was glad to see the end of this drama. As bad as it was, I couldn’t bring myself to drop it. I felt committed somehow, and I am not sure why. If there is anything I appreciate, it is the message the drama tries to leave us with—that power lies and corruption leads. As the saying goes, the problem with absolute power is that it corrupts even when exercised by kindly souls. But no matter how far wrong one goes, one can always turn around. I want to think the drama tries to bring awareness to the idea of not normalizing criminal behaviors and accepting twisted ideologies for fear of public criticism. Humans are better than that. At least, this is what I would like to take from this drama.
