1. I’m like Qian with a knife right now. San Pang, you will be dealt with soon!!!! 😂

   I’m mad at San Pang but let’s acknowledge his actions are valid in some ways.

   Now that I’m thinking about it, I guess it was ok that someone explicitly told Qian that Yuan might have feelings for him this early in the story. Some people assume that Qian is aware of Yuan’s feelings, but San Pang telling him is a proof that the idea passed through Qian’s mind (even if he disregarded it right away). And San Pang is someone who sees both of them quite often so you can say the observation isn’t completely baseless.

   When San Pang talked to Qian and Lili, he keeps implying the fact that Yuan isn’t biologically related to the two. But when he talks to Yuan (next week), he’s focusing on the point that Qian IS his brother.

   I wonder what he concluded from his talk with Qian. If he thought that Qian was lying when he denied enjoying the sleeping together, will he support the two secretly? If he thought that Qian is really opposed to Yuan liking him, is that the reason he confronted Yuan? He wanted to discourage Yuan to protect Yuan from getting hurt since Qian doesn’t like him? Hmmmmmm I don’t think that’s it.

   I’d like to think San Pang is still suspicious that Qian feels the same way as Yuan, no matter how little. But he keeps on setting Qian up with girls anyway. And I don’t think he said future sister-in-law intentionally to see Yuan’s reaction.

   Anyway, whether he’s right or wrong, I’m still mad at San Pang. 😂 I watched the long trailer again (I watch it everyday actually lol) to look for San Pang’s lines in later episodes. I was specifically looking for a scene where San Pang say “I’m sorry” to Yuan. I didn’t see something like that in the trailer. But there’s a scene where Yuan said in lowkey sarcasm/passive-aggressive but half-genuine tone that he’s very grateful for San Pang because he’s the reason he had to go abroad. 😂

   Well, it’s clear that even though San Pang sees the three very often and thinks that Yuan takes care of Qian very much and how much Qian will do for his family, he has no idea of how deep Yuan’s feelings could go, and how important Yuan is to Qian.

2. Yea sadly I feel this WHOLE episode was to be expected from beginning to end……….
   I ALSO have to agree with the commentary about Sang Pang…..THAT WASN’T a conversation he SHOULD have HAD with Lili OR the Co-Workers they ALLLLL work with…..NOT sure WHICH side or angle Sang Pang was coming from though~ though……… WAS he IN SUPPORT OR AGAINST IT…………..IS the million dollar question I have……..
   I ALSO didnt like the ‘SURPRISE’ Sister-In-Law act/ Conversation……..I THOUGHT and SAW THAT as ‘a’ “an” personal attack BUTT again WHAT was the angle of THAT conversation??? WAS it an ‘attack’ or WAS it to trigger/communicate an open talk about ‘true’ feelings?????? towards the ‘brothers’ that aren’t “blood” brothers…………

4. I might be alone in this but I don’t like San Pang questioning Lili about Yuan and Qian sleeping in the same bed. He’s definitely overstepping some boundaries as a friend of Qian. I also don’t like how he keeps being so damn pushy with Qian about Yuan taking care of him and trying to set him up on dates! Like where’s your girlfriend San Pang?!
   I just keep rolling my eyes and wanting to smack San Pang through the screen when he says future sister in law.
   Noooo, the next episode looks heartbreaking! I’m sad already.

   i think qian knows of yuan’s feelings. i don’t think he wants to acknowledge them because he thinks of him as a brother.

   when yuan was asking the office to take care of qian, qian smirked and it was not the first time. “qian only listens to yuan.” i wonder if yuan also noticed this.

   next episode will be intense. i think it will be a cross of qian scared that he finally realised he also has feelings for yuan while being cruel to yuan so he can continue to be in denial.
   it won’t work sending him away…absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that lol

10. Wow, for such short episodes there is so much to unpack in them. First of all Qian’ sreaction to Yuan’s coming out at the river was aggravating and that to me made the series even more real. His reaction in asking if he failed in raising Yuan definitely solidified the child parent dynamic he has sealed himself in with Yuan which is going to make Yuan confession even more painful to watch as Qian will react in a awful way as seen in the sneak peek of next week’s episode. I liked how Yuan handled his reaction and I especially liked how he stated that who he liked was his business; often times family members and friends forget and/or ignore that there is a realm of privacy which each individual is entitled to which must only be entered per the permission of said individual. I believe this exact line of “who I like, is my business” was said by Gao Shi De in We Best Love; and it so happens it is the same director who did that series is doing this one.
    Detective San Pang is working hard out here. However I do think he is crossing some boundaries. I think him growing up with them gives him the right to ask Qian about the matter since they were always friends but him now going to Yuan is overstepping. The way I see it, San Pang is intruding on his friend’s little brother’s privacy of his preference and who he likes. He says Yuan is like a brother to him which is somewhat true however that relationship is simple through Qian and no deeper. I respected him asking Qian but I do not appreciate him engaging Yuan and Lily about it in the manner he has.
    On another note I am assuming that Qian in denial of his feelings will force himself into seeing the investor lady which will only backfire on him; kind of reminds me of Type in Tharntype when he went on that date however we know how that ended 😏.
    Looking forward to the next episode.

11. I knew it was too good to be true when Qian remained there for the kiss to last longer than anticipated.

    😁 This is a clever way of showing no animal was harmed in this production. 😆

    In retrospect, Qian did not shrug Yuan off as he used to for being bothered, too hot or cramped, because he did not want his gay brother to feel like an outcast. This time he remained sleeping with Yuan through the night.

    😍 So cute, I would stay in bed to stare at this angel face. 💋

    🗑️ Lili Lili Lili…the nerve of her smearing Yuan for her messiness. 😆 As if San-ge would take her words. 🤭

    The way Lili responded makes me think of My Only 12& (2022). Cake and Eiw shared their bed together as naturally as they have been doing it from childhood to their teen days, and their family did not see them wrong. So Lili has not concerned Yuan sleeping in Qian’s bed.

    Poor Lili for realizing that San-Ge showed concern for Yuan instead of her. 😆

    😠 San Pang rubs the salt deeper into Yuan’s wound. Bringing up sister-in-law, showing a picture and complimenting the pair while he had already figured Qian is Yuan’s object of affection. Why bother questioning, could he not see Yuan’s swollen eyes!? 🥺

14. waited 1 whole week for those lips to touch. was not disappointed.
    the eps are so short and yet, so many things happen in each ep that you can talk about it for hours T_T I love this show too much. everything about it is perfect. thank you showmakers for making this ep around 15 mins longer than usual. please let it have a lot of episodes. *cries*

15. Pang was a very close friend but I find him too nosy. Maybe he was concerned about Qian, after witnessing how he suffered since his young age, and did not want Yuan’s love to complicate his life further. But wasn’t it better to let them sort out their relationship themselves?

    Actually, Yuan seemed to be good for Qian. He really took good care of him. Qian listened to him quite a lot as what their colleagues observed. He didn’t eat the headache medicine when Yuan asked him not to, rest and took the vitamins when Yuan asked him to do so. And Yuan seemed to enjoy being taken care of by him too 😉

    Next episode will be 🥺 This will be the second drama with sad episode for the next weekend. Need to prepare a bigger box of tissues 😔

16. I haven’t watched the episode but reading the comments, it seems like we have lili and San pang’s side story started??? I won’t be much active for a while cz of Ramadan so I’ll have to catch up on the shows later. Though, reading the comment sections is keeping me entertained.

20. SPOILER… “Some wants are like daydreams, beyond one’s reach. Living only in your fantasies” 😏 … I know most of us guessed it was his imagination but still, Yuan, take those fantasies and SHOVE IT!😫 Lol!🙈

    Qian, was so aggravating to listen to at the start of the ep. I get that he’s concerned as a big bro/ parental type figure and about the outside world hurting Yuan but that’s not how his words came across. The line of questioning about Yuan’s sexuality after he so bravely told him was so hurtful and painful. Didn’t I raise you right?, or something to that affect was just so wrong, as to say he did do something wrong in liking boys. NO!!!✋ I was prepared for Qian to unofficially reject Yuan, but I wasn’t prepared to hear him lowkey demean him (or at least I’m sure that’s how Yuan heard it). I’m just hoping that his behavior was some hidden jealousy that Yuan wasn’t into him and into some other guy who he thought was random and/ or plain denial of his own deeper affection for Yuan🙏 What Qian proved is that he indeed did not get Yuan during that convo.😣 Yuan also pushing the “we aren’t related” part in that scene and his reaction to that was expected and just😔 Now don’t lie to yourself Qian, you both looked quite cozy here and Pang saw it too💞 😅 Not to mention that’s not the first time we’ve seen them cozy up like that😏🥰

    Pang’s 1st expressions were priceless👀😮😂🤣 Detective Pang in action was hilarious, asking inappropriate personal questions just like that, lol🧐🔎 You can’t fool him, haha😄 But when Qian told Pang, that he didn’t want to judge and make Yuan feel like an outcast, all I thought was then what was with your responses for when Yuan told you about his sexuality on the fishing trip?!😌 It’s not like it was a complete shock. Qian had been forewarned by Lili, etc…
    The office workers gossiping and taking care of Qian bc Yuan asked them to was too cute😄 “Qian only listens to Yuan”, adorable🥰

    Well, another cliffhanger and that preview looks like the real confession is gonna finally go down next time😓 I need to prepare myself with tissues and lots of comfort food. Coming up next: Gut-wrenching pain😭🤧 *SIGH*🙇‍♀️

    P.S. Lili is 18 yrs old???👀😯👀 And she likes Pang, jeez! Poor girl, now THAT’S unrequited love🫣 Or did I miss something there?🙈 I wonder who Pang likes🤔
