2. SPOILER… Childhood trauma and abuse can mark you for life. Trust me I know. The triggers can indeed be as small as that earring. It gave me chills😭 What started out as a light episode with an awkward, funny blind dating moment turned into survival mode. Unfortunately, you can’t wash yourself clean enough from those bad memories and emotions. Everything does spin and you do feel sick when you think about it, especially unexpectedly. But, I wonder what else is wrong with Qian to land him in the hospital next ep. Childhood trauma and/ or “bro” siblings getting together romantically in our Asian BLs isn’t a new theme, but the way the story is developing here keeps me intrigued and wanting to know more of the details. So far, I’m worried we’re going to have some heartache and avoidance before they admit their feelings and surrender to them, especially Quian, understandably😔 We can tell Yuan has already started to develop complicated feelings. I’m loving the pace of this so far and the maturity in which it’s told. I can’t wait for next ep.❣️

4. Whew! They’ve grown out of those hellish times of gang life. This episode is much lighter to enjoy.

   And I enjoy the humorous moments of the siblings.
