1. I have zero sympathy for Jiang Yu’e 😒 she made her bed (with her cousin’s betrothed literally in it), now she has to lie in it. Even when she finally became Zhou Yanbang’s wife, she still chooses to malign Jiang Li ugh I’m just really tired of her and Jiang Ruo Yao, pls finish up their stories in the next episode or two, I don’t wanna waste any more time on them

2. Looks like it’s the Jiang family’s turn to have everything turn upside down. That Zhao guy is just UGH, still obsessed with Jiang Li, married to that other girl, and calling out the other Jiang sister to meet up for who knows what purpose.

   What an evil dirty bitch, she actually tried to kill dude after f@*king him. Never seen nothing like that. These female villians are on another level.
   Bit disappointed in the princess, thought she was a bad bit*h but she’s just a dumb obsessive fool with some power.

6. These type of dramas always seem to give FL similar families…it is almost like a checklist:

   – Dead/concubine mother
   – Irresponsible/negligent father (though Jiang Yuanbai is the best of the lot so far)
   – an evil stepmom
   – kind grandma
   – Main wife’s arrogant daughter
   – concubine’s delulu daughter
   – a bother that likes the FL
   – ambiguous extended family

8. So things revealed in this episode….

   King Chen, Princess Psycho and the current King are siblings. King Chen and the Princess are full siblings from the same mother and the current King is a half brother…. however their father chose the current King to be his successor, sent the Princess away as a hostage and ordered King Chen to guard the boarder. Years later, Prince Psycho is back and she and Minister Li (along with others) are secretly supporting her blood brother King Chen to steal the throne. I am glad they explained that much because up till now we had no idea who King Chen was and why the Princess was loyal to him.

   Other than that we learned about Jiang Li’s step mother’s secret lover. I am not surprised at all and I am willing to bet that that baby she accused Jiang Li of killing in the womb was her lover’s child and not her husband’s. Anyways he is back now and still obsessed with Ji Shuran. He is also in a position of power and giving off strong rapey vibes which makes me almost feel sorry for Ji Shuran… but the woman did try to kill him so I guess he is going to get his pound of flesh back one way or the other. I don’t know how this would play out but I am guessing this is the start of Jiang Li’s step mother’s downfall.

   Finally Jiang Li’s cousin and sister. Those girls need to get their head checked, that Zhou guy is so not worth their love yet both women want him desperately enough to tank their own reputation to be with him. Why? The dude is so meh when compared to Duke Su. Anyways I hope Jiang Li’s sister doesn’t end up pregnant- but I won’t be surprised if it happens.

9. Now we know why the stepmom wanted to have a miscarriage. It wasn’t a Jiang child. Killing two birds with one stone. Get rid of the child and blame it on Jiang Li. How vicious.

   Confused about Princess Wanning. Is she King Cheng’s sister or the emperor’s sister? Is she the hostage for this country or was a hostage of King Cheng and is now back to her own country?

11. I thought Ji Shu Ran was just a house cat with sharp claws. Who would have thought there was such cruelty behind that facade? To try and burn your lover to death?

    Wan Ning strikes again while the iron is still hot! At least Xiao Heng has caught on there is another round of fiasco waiting to happen.

    I do not feel bad for Jiang Yu’e, she dug her grave, and it is time to lie in it. Let’s see if Jiang Ruo Yao will end up beside her, another spoiled and gullible brat.

12. Omooo!! During 2 HOURS that naughty Jiang madam had so much “fun” with that imperial diviner, she couldn’t even walk properly afterwards hohoho🤭 ,that’s going to bite her back really hard.

14. The princess and Mrs Jiang are of the same evil family line. They will get rid of anyone in their way for what…?
    I am sure they will both be dealt with shamelessly when the time comes and I look forward to it.

    As for the power couple, they still managed to steal a little time to subtly flirt despite discussing serious matters.
