3. Welp, as suspected the whole last episode was all a setup for today’s payoff.

   I kind of figured that his mother was materialistic given Takara’s attitude towards people who value things by their material worth + the flashbacks of marbles and her calling them cheap, but it’s nice seeing where Takara’s obsession with glass marbles comes from… something beautiful in his not-so-beautiful life.

   Also, Takara’s grandpa also is his influence for liking hiking so much, since he mentioned taking Takara to the mountains with him.

4. Taishin’s imagination is wild with the whole “he could die”.

   Just like with the idol and stan thing he keeps letting other people’s ramblings influence his perception of Takara. From how he feels about Takata to Takara’s love life, he needs to stop listening to those around him and just communicate with Takara. The fact that the woman ended up being Takara’s mom was pretty hilarious, but it makes sense why Takara has been irritable for a while now give that it was his mother who kept calling.

5. I’m disappointed with this episode, particularly with Taishin’s personality. To me, he doesn’t come off as cute, but rather dim-witted . I also don’t enjoy his voice; it sounds silly and doesn’t add any charm. I wish we could see a more mature side of him occasionally, to show that Takara can rely on him. It’s possible to be cute and unaware of one’s own feelings while still being mature in other conversations. Right now, he seems more like a 10-year-old than a university student.

6. Tai-chan wanting to defend Takara, stepped up and corrected that woman thinking she was the girlfriend others in the club were talking about. Feeling bad for what he had done, Tai-chan needed to know more about Takara. So Tai-chan has the privilege to be the only one who now knows the personal parts of Takara. We, as viewers, get to know the backstory of the Ramune and the marbles.

   The twist part in this episode is Tai-chan has intended to take care of Takara’s cold, but it turns out he’s being taken care of.

   Tai-chan lost sleep because he spent the entire night curious about his affection toward Takara. I suppose since Taishin knew about Takara’s story, he opened up his own problem to Takara in return.

   I’m curious what Takara wants as he reaches out caressing Shin’s face.

9. He was ready to fight not knowing it was takara’s mom that keeps bothering him
   Taishin to be so adorable.That smile on Takara’s face when he held back taishin from chasing after his mother
   The ramune parallel between here and the lost kid was great the grandpa showing Takara how to pop the ramune vs him then showing the kid
   This is the slowest of the slow burns i certainly hope stuff will start to move next episode
