2. Now, that we’re this far into the series, I’ve got to say a couple of things don’t work for me. Few examples like the fact that the 2 Hua daughters have abusive husband is too much of a coincidence. Or the fact that they need Shaoyao, but she’s not there & searching for worms. Okay?

   While I’m still enjoying it, I do feel the drama is creating some weak side stories that don’t really earn their need to be in the drama.

   PS I was just watching a clip of My Journey to You & was shocked to see Shaoyao in there. She plays a femme fatale in that drama so I’m even more impressed w/ her actress now, bcuz there’s such a difference in her acting.

4. Episode 22 should be titled The Gathering Of An Army or The Marching Of An Army.

   Huan is the female general gathering her female soldiers like the Dahomey Amazons centuries ago
   .
   I see where the former episodes are leading me. Together with the female clan, under her strong will and guidance she’ll recover everything her clan lost…everything…no exception aside.

   The prince will have no choice but to take their side. Whoever wants to hit the drum against this army will hit rock bottom. This army’s own drum is roaring. The battle is starting.

5. that husband should have been given more for his attitude! he just shut her n dared to say she is ill and wanted to kill all of them…he will make more trouble..again another baby gal in the family..two cuties digging worm and in their own world. innocence is a bliss!

   Wow, is the emperor subjecting his brother to psychological torture with these pastries? Does he have to eat them? Not knowing whether this delivery is poisoned or not must be horrifying, that being said, he’s probably dead already just doesn’t know it yet.

8. Those women are absolutely useless!!!!
   If Zhi wasn’t there they would be slaves or dead!
   Praying and Voodoo crap when they should be helping the sister in law give birth.
   I love that Zhi can stand up to them and tell them off when they go on with their nonsense.
   At least baby is here and Mom is well, hope they don’t kill her off later. That would be pure nonsense!

9. I think I understand what someone commented earlier, the leads thinking is too modern. It takes away from the immersion of the story.
   Wu kept her baby inside for so long, experienced trauma and everything, just to give birth now at the critical moment when no one is home

10. The interactions between Shaoyao and that Shen brother are so precious and innocent lol. I’m liking Shen brother character more and more each passing eps. She totally got him wrapped around her fingers…🤭🤭
