  1. They could’ve given us a proper ending tbh. last night she was telling Jungo she got a nice proposal from her ex fiance but Jungo doesn’t know she rejected. So theoretically when he missed his flight to come back he still should think that she is engaged right?? It looked kind of a plot hole

They showed a very strict mother only to not use it later. Then why bother introducing..They could’ve shown some reaction of her parents and then her telling the truth, having a nice conversation about what happened five years ago. We already know they still like each other but the surrounding closure was important

    Realistically it’s really not possible for them to be together. I’ve sated this in previous episode but I’m still very happy they ended up together cause it’s a drama. They could’ve shown what happened after they got together again. Like Hong managing her company in korea and Jungo being a writer from Japan. Being a international couple managing their relationship kinda thing…Did anyone got my point?? :(( I think just them running together as an ending really doesn’t match up to the previous five eps. {which was amaizing}

  2. Though it was partially Jungo’s fault for not noticing Hong’s loneliness, I feel that he’s not entirely to blame or responsible for filling up all that emptiness Hong had. That is way too much burden to put on someone. Yes, he wasn’t there when she needed him. He shouldn’t have ignored her calls and not even try to give a quick reply. He should have taken her concerns seriously and give her emotional support. But to blame all of her loneliness on him seems a bit unfair, in my opinion. He had his life to balance as well.

I’ve never lived abroad on my own before, so I can’t say that I fully understand Hong’s situation even though I try to. But I feel that it was also Hong’s own responsibility to relieve or cope with her loneliness instead of being completely dependent on Jungo. Maybe it works for some people, maybe it doesn’t. But I feel that doing so is unhealthy for both of them. A lot of pressure will be put on Jungo, and for Hong, she will crumble when she feels that she can no longer depend on him, which was what happened five years ago. Glad that she also realized it wasn’t all his fault. I love how they both apologized to each other in the end.

I just think at the time, she was needing more and more company from him, but he could no longer meet her emotional needs. As time went by, they were no longer moving in the same frequency. They were no longer the same as when they first met. People change over time and that’s normal to me. Sometimes two people change but they are still able to match each other. Other times, two people change and end up moving further away from each other. To me, Hong and Jungo were the latter. And during those five years, they started (maybe) moving closer in the same direction again.

When Kanna didn’t disappoint me in the beginning, I saw this ending coming. I really like Kanna, and I’m glad she didn’t try to change who she was just to make Jungo like her back. I’m really curious about how Hong and Jungo will overcome their problem henceforth. Seems like she went back to Japan with him. Will she face the same problem of loneliness again? Will Jungo also be the same and put work first?

There are times when we realize our mistakes, learn our lesson, but it takes AGES for us to change and not make the same mistake again. I honestly wouldn’t mind a movie showing how they maintain their relationship after this or what other problems they faced after getting back together. I’m sure this isn’t the end of their problems in the relationship.

This was a beautiful love story. It wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine but it was beautiful nonetheless. Even if they didn’t end up together, if they both had closure and learned to let go and move on, it would be a different kind of happy ending to me as well. But it was nice how they got back together. Perhaps after this, they both learn how to match each other’s pace.

  3. This is supposed to be love story but all we get to see ML character from FL perceptive only. Really not to my liking at all. There is no balance at all btw ML, FL characters. They can do much better. No need to make every drama FL centered.

  4. I was poor so I had to leave you alone till you became lonely….. now I’m freaking rich…….. and they treat me like royalty here…… and you own a publishing house….. aren’t you glad that we broke up and now that we’re successful we can stick to each other like mollusks!

  5. to be honest I understand the part where she suppressed her feelings looking at each other as if it did not hurt, as if she did not want that warm hug she longed for all those years (they both do) i know for some they might say about the red and green flags but that is how for me I could and would have reacted. But then when I saw the ML running with her and tried again to reach out to her i said ah! what I was expecting for him to do, to really catch up with her and stand by her. the ending with all those adlibs of the past is just a great though since that is what I for some might do “reminisce”. Seeing both of them running is a cute way of ending the story. It is not predictable it is what we hope and wish for our love story to end.

  6. A lot of people are saying this episode was boring, but I feel like they kept that classic Japanese touch in the end. I honestly didn’t think they’d end up together, but they did. Maybe it’s because the book had a happy ending, so they gave us one here too. But something tells me, in reality, it wouldn’t end that way—just like life. I thought it was solid. The flashbacks were definitely necessary. They did miss out by not including more scenes with the mother-and-son-in-law, but it seems like they really wanted to focus on emotions, which a lot of viewers missed.

This drama was spot-on for showing a relationship that’s all sugar and honey…and a bit bitter, too. It would’ve been awesome to get a side story with family and friends! Definitely gonna miss them, and my lovebirds, too. 8/10 for me. gonna ignore the slow ep6

  7. Thank God this drama ended! I don’t particularly hate slow paced dramas, but a 6-episode mini drama should either have more depth in a short amount of time or be fast paced, this drama was neither. I am glad they ended up togetger, but the execution of that was extremely underwhelming. Beni had a misunderstanding about Kanna and decided to leave without confirming, but had the audacity to lie to him about having accepted the proposal? It was extremrly unnecessary and dragged the whole episode. It would have been better to resolve their problem halfway through the drama or atleast through this episode and then show a time jump 20/30 years later. The story was all over the place. Good it ended.

  8. Wait, he said the book had a happy ending but why when she read it at the end the monologue seems sad?

btw, the aperture of the video makes the actors’ complexions looks soft…. she looks prettier in this drama than Kdramas’ style apertures.

  9. Beautiful sweet drama love always wins
Just wished the ending was them loving each other something what happened after little longer but still was good drama

  10. l would like to see beni introduce her boyfriend to her mother l dont think her mother would approved the relationship why did she lied that she had a boyfriend when she broke up the engagement

  11. I’m really glad they fixed their relationship again but Hong said “my boyfriend… he proposed and it was beautiful…”

    isn’t that rejecting Jungo?
in the middle of the drama like I’m ready to wrap my head on Hong not picking any of them
please help me fix this confusion 😅

  12. What come’s after their love???? Is the REGRET and then give the love a second chance. I thought beni would be so hard on her self but at the end she just gave it all up because after all they have been through she just love jungo so much… Love the ending by the way.

  13. Someone said this is from a novel, how short is that novel?

In the beginning, other than the outcome I theorized, I thought Yun Dong-ju’s poetry would be a backdrop… for 3 scenarios…. first, it would get them together….. second, it would break them up(I thought the scene where she said how could he say something like that during their break up was something political about Yun Dong-ju’s poems about independence)…. third, somehow the writer would know how to make Yun Dong-ju’s poem bring them back together…. well I guess I’m too much of a romantic.
I thought both of them would romanticize poetry in their relationship because their backgrounds related to the written art. Never thought the storyline to be this shallow.

Even though their break-up was a pretty realistic depiction….. the ending is too vague….

  14. appreciation for this man, he was just perfect 👌 I fell in love with him the moment I saw him and he did complete justice to Jungo, I can’t imagine anyone else as Jungo, but him….hope to see him in more projects in collaboration with Korean artists….and waiting for his drama/film on Netflix next month….🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

and of course, Lee Se Young, the actress that she is 👏👏👏👏👏 always a fan of her, the girl knows how to act and she did a splendid job, as always….loved her and went through every emotion with her that Beni felt, no one could do Beni better than her….🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️❤️❤️❤️

  15. she saw them, she “WALKED” out, he “RAN” after her, she walked, she stood for a while in front of the door, looked at the flowers, did something about the flowers, my boy is running, she walked out the hotel, dropped things from her bag, indulged in her thoughts, my boy is running, picked her things up, walked to her car, my boy is running, she cried and cried in her car, my boy is running, she went away in her car and my boy is still running 🤣🤣🤣🤣…..I was laughing and getting frustrated that y isn’t he reaching her???

  16. I’m relieved that they ended up together, I was so scared that her fate would also be like her father when it comes to love…..

but my question is, Beni, girl, u could’ve just said all this in your meeting with him before his flight….he wanted to talk, he wanted to say what he couldn’t for all these years and what u wanted to hear for all these years, u could’ve heard him and then said what u wanted to say….why didn’t u do that???

but it’s ok, m glad that it ended on a beautiful scenery in the background and not in the gloomy dark environment that half the drama is shot in…..

all in all, it was a beautiful journey and I enjoyed it…..❤️❤️❤️

  17. kinda boring last episode…with that “predictable” ending why drag to boring 40-ish minutes to a montage of flash back and some silly miss understanding. we all the viewer allready know that jungo regret for letting beni feel alone (he even make a whole book of that regret). we all the viewer allready know Beni choose jungo after rejecting the marriage proposal.

its like writing of new novel with same the same theme from the last novel. for this episode 6 alone i give rating 3/10 for the director.

instead of showing useless flashback and silly miss understanding, we the viewer more curious about how beni and jungo effort to convince beni mother to bless their relationship after they get back togother and how jungo want to move to korea for making it up to beni. hope they can give 1 more extra episode for this dissapointing episode 6

  18. Too many excuses and not making up later definitely kill a relationship. I always wondered why people get into relationships. Is it because they are lonely? We have been told this a lot, “You”ll find your partner when you are not looking for them, when you are happy and content all by yourself”, and I agree with it but I also don’t. Relationships are to be gotten into when you feel whole, and you can also take care of the other and make them happy . At the same time, what if you start feeling so whole that you never feel the need of a partner?

I had two views last week- a, maybe the female lead had some childhood trauma that lead her to depend on the partner completely, b maybe he was really making her feel lonely because he hardly ever made up to her and had his excuses ready. I believe he came to Korea to find her again and get back with her, but she had already realized that their love was her source of happiness and complete loneliness. That makes them incompatible despite their love. While a part of me wanted to get them together, I know it deep in my heart that the pattern is likely to return. And she contrary to my first opinion she wasn’t looking to him to make her feel less lonely all the time. He kept disappointing her. I don’t know where this second chance will take them all the best.
The ending was soo sudden for me.
