1. Status and nobility class always matter to a Princess. It’s not surprising she initially looked down on Pei, as her marriage partner.

2. I love how the side characters are fully built up, especially Shangguan Ya. In a different drama, Shangguan Ya could just as easily be the main character of the show and it would still work out perfectly. She even has two suitors – Su Ronghua and Lin Feibai. It’s very interesting how her own story plays out alongside Li Rong and Pei Wenxuan’s story. It reminds me of Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, with how Bai Fengjiu’s story plays out alongside Bai Qian’s story as well.

3. Well Shangguan Ya has made her choice and it’s loyalty not love. I am actually happy about this. I didn’t want her to be the type of weak woman who would give up all her principles and responsibilities for a man. As for her ex assassin/ new general husband to be, I thought they had chemistry when they first met so I have no problems if they end up together at the end of this show.

   I do feel bad for Su Rongha but at the end of the day- he will not choose love over family so since he knows his family is plotting a rebellion, he should let Shangguan Ya go.

4. Dang it. Why is it always the most trusted one that stabs them in the back.

   Anyways I hope both the brother and the sister survive. The same goes for the Crown Prince and Princess. I know the Princess the protagonist of this story so she will survive but I don’t want the Crown Prince to die while trying to save her. As for the Emperor…. I mean I wanted him to die before, but now I really want him to just drop dead. He is willing to sacrifice his 1st born son and two daughters (because Prince Su’s sister is being set up to take the blame for all of this), and make the son of the woman who poisoned him to death the new Emperor- just so that he can win against the Nobles. He is a fool.

5. ohh that emperor is really hopeless even with his beloved Consort Rou telling how she has poisoned him for years to make sure her son get on the throne he is still following her wish and even want to k1ll his others kids lol no wonder he lost his balls with that poison

   He never cared for LC and now want to manipulate him. Asking him to choose btw him and his mother who always by his side is shameless and I hope he really die alone and at the hands of his beloved kids (Prince Cheng and his sister)

   The next episodes are going to be intense I’m excited and worrying for Li Rong.
   let’s hope SQH do something to stop his brother’s madness

6. We are now approaching the climax of the roller coaster and everything’s going to unfold. 🎢 I wish they (chuan, rong, emperor) could just communicate and discuss what their goals and visions are. They will realize that they all have the same idea (independence from nobles, equality). Just different ways to get there. Just because chuan values his mother doesn’t mean he’s going to continue to support Shanguan nobles in the future. Also, princess rong has literally been up against the nobles this whole entire time. I don’t know what else she needs to do to prove her stance. Sad that the emperor can bear to have chuan/rong killed just to realize his goals. Everything that consort Rou said about him is true. He’s not benevolent ruler. 🤷🏻‍♀️ he’s not kind but he’s also not ruthless. This is going to be a bloody mess and I’m low key stressed out for pei weixian. He needs to figure out a way to ensure rong’s saftey. Despite pei’s undying loyalty, she still has insecurity issues. 😫 But then again I don’t blame her. Her own dad wants to kill her after all she’s done to help suppress the nobles.

7. omg more fmc like li Rong and a’ya pls they are so impressive!! I was really rooting for a’ya and su, but lin febai also makes a lot of sense. I hope 1st master su doesn’t disappoint, he’s gonna have to make a choice soon. the su boys really move like snails when it comes to women.
   so the emperor hasn’t realized the error of his ways, the audacity of him asking the cp to abandon his mother! feels like we missed something between the eps, when did all of the su family and not just su rq start planning a rebellion? and why? why is li Rong suddenly so mistrustful of her brother? this ep took such a somber turn, I can smell the bloodshed already.
   and that consort rou really intends to sacrifice her daughter? what a terrible woman

8. I’m pitying Su Ronghua the most in this ep. Cause of his selfish ahh brother, he doesn’t get to marry the girl he likes. And I may need more explanation, but Su Rongqing is trying to kill Li Chuan for what? I don’t get it

9. the way Fist master su’s brother is fucking up his love life up for him, ouu i would be pissed. The girl i love is basically calling it off all because my family wants to be stupid and polt a rebellion.
