Iām so excited for this show. I think this is my most anticipated Netflix original of 2024. My faves from Trolley, Kim Hyunjoo and Park Heesoon are reuniting, Ryu Kyungsoo is also reuniting here for the 2nd time with Kim Hyunjoo, both have worked previously with the director on JUNG_E and Hellbound.
That family took a chapter from the Hills have eyes
I was expecting a Revenant like drama with supernatural elements, kinda disappointed because it has no ghost haha…
But the drama is still good with great actors.
This had potential to be much more interesting, but it was ultimately underwhelming imo. The horror/thriller part was lacking, the characters weren’t as complex as I would have liked either. The twist could have been much more impactful, but the reveal was handled quite poorly, as if it was just another piece of evidence to close the case. I wanted something like Gannibal, but this wasn’t it.
Overall a 7/10 because the cinematography was amazing and there were some really strong performances, especially by Ryu Kyung Soo. But that’s it. Still miles above Monstrous though.
I really wanted to like this..š
is this good or worth watching?
it’s not a masterpiece but it’s well written. Besides, it’s good enough to keep your attention from the beginning to the end. I liked the twist at the end if you wanna know more, i’ll tell you ‘why’ š
