  1. Pause 18:50

Wow the president is blocking their move. He already laid his bait to nail the VP as the prime suspect so I guess this is his plan to kick the VP out but it just need to execute early…plus that spy he almost killed…wow… transferring hospital, only his family visits and even clearing his office… now even transferring Mr. Shin to another department so he can’t investigate as an Auditor….Wow, I’d give that sly president a clap clap clap…well thought!

His character wasn’t a sweetheart here and he always plays that character I’d really like to murder (like in Taxi Driver, Happiness and even in Moving)…but I surprised that here at least he’s loyal to the VP…๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  2. As I watched this, I kept getting Strander 1 & 2 vibes. ML was always thinking a couple squares ahead of everyone else and never waste time explaining anything. There is no Bae Doona in this, but still carries that vibe.

  3. God VP needs a hug. I know he has his newfound family who he clearly loves but dude lost both his brothers in such a heavy way. I’m going to miss him. Alongside Mr. Shin,I really loved his character. He was so commanding but soft-hearted.

  4. I really liked the drama and sad that this was the finale…I have to say that I am disappointed about the 12 ep only and the fact that we did not get any real insight into our King-of-audits life but only some hints/superfitial details.
I really do not like this 10 to 12 -or even just 8- episode trend, Most of the time it does not give the story proper time to develop, and the plot tends to be rushed by the last episode. There were holes in the plot delivery throughout but we could have done with a few more episodes, in my opinion.
Anyway, can I hope for a season 2 as our auditing super star is being headhunted while we reached the end of this one?

  5. Yes yes yes, this is what I wanted. Please give us a good season 2. I want to see more of Shin ha kyun ๐Ÿ˜Œ.

  6. Lol the next Mr. Shin ๐Ÿคฃ. Mr. Shin influenced them all postiviely haha. VP’s minion’s reactions were just too funny hahaha๐Ÿ˜‚โค๏ธ.
The ratings were decent too. Possible second season.? I enjoyed this series.
Pres was more evil than I thought too. Although he did have a great idea of getting rid of corruption, but the methods were not. Except for the hire of Mr. Shin. I was also surprised he didn’t hire anyone to do the deeds and he did them himself. Ig it could be to avoid other problems too.

  7. He is looking so funny ๐Ÿคฃ, Mr. Goo Cha II, ROFL ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  8. While there were “ahh come on, seriously?” moments here and there, the characterizations and their logic is very well done. Yea we did have Han Soo but he was balanced out by Seo Jin initially. Both the brothers were well written too. And what I liked was Shin Cha Il’s backstory. I personally felt that it was a very solid reason why a man would go to those lengths “just for an audit”. While the drama didn’t dwell too much on the incident itself or explicitly (and repeatedly) show Cha Il having trauma, you could see it laced in his life everywhere. We did get a few snippets here and there but not like our usual kdrama tropes. But, from the way Shin Cha Il performs his job, the way he talks to the way his home is, it’s all a reflection of how that incident affected him and why he would get up even when dead sick to go conduct an audit. (Even the junior mentioned how much he had changed).
    It’s his form of repentance.

  9. Found the villain refreshing actually.

The vice president while morally good, like SCI mentioned, is the type of person to let a bit of corruption and bribery pass by to achieve his final goal. Now realistically, that’s how it works unfortunately.
Coming to the president, he had a strong clear motive – to build a clean company (after becoming the president). He believed the ends justified the means. Yes, he was power hungry. But when it came to the company itself, he was determined. While he is completely evil and vile, he did scout Shin Cha Il to get rid of corruption. A person like him is dangerous because he believes in his vision of the ‘greater good’ and will stop at nothing to achieve that. What’s worse is he believes only he can do it. Unlike most ‘power hungry villains’ who only do stuff to get more money and rise higher up in status, the president cared for his company.

Both the brothers loved the company. They are opposites in how they love it though (the people vs automation was also one aspect). And their personal rivalry fueled a lot more drama. Not justifying the president but just saying that his character was didn’t dissolve into a 2d villain with cliches. The writer has very brilliantly written both the brothers and made the ultimate villain more dynamic.

  10. I am just obsessed with Shin Ha Kyun, I can’t believe I have to wait again for his new work!!!! This man is something else….

  11. Awww ๐Ÿ˜‚, look at him, he is soo happy. I did not trusted him much and he was also in a little dilema as which side to choose. But as he was with the VP most of the time, I think he should get a reward for it ๐Ÿ˜‚.

  12. It’s pretty clear, his intentions were good but he choose the wrong path. His eyes clearly tell that, also a good actor. Wanted him to be the good guy, but someone has to be the bad guy in this type of dramas. Hope to see him play a good character next time.

  13. That’s the perfect word for his thought process. Thanks to shin cha, got to know a new and very good word, which can be used a lot in today’s world

His eyes, they just show no mercy at all. Wrong is wrong no matter what, I like this kind of characters. He is such a good actor.

  14. It’s a full on fight going on and the final bomb has been dropped

The target is completely demolished, mission successful

  15. VP’s shouting and Shin cha’s entry, perfect combination. Let’s go ๐Ÿ”ฅ. President is soo soo gone this time.

  16. Goo Cha il….๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

I actually thought he himself would start laughing that he’s imitating Shin Cha il….๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  17. loved his character, and would love to watch Jin goo more in such roles….his smile made me go gaga over him….๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

same goes for him…I swooned over these men for 12 episodes….๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™†โ€โ™€๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

I wish they had worked together for more…

  18. Wah. Pres. Hwang havin’ no qualms throwin’ VP under the bus tch.๐Ÿ˜ค

Well done to Head Choi f his foresight in concealing valuable evidence.

The look on VP’s minion whenever Shin dropped a bomb was hilarious LMFAo!!!!๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ญ Why is the chairman repeating after Shin LoL?๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜‚

I’m psychic๐Ÿ˜‚ ’cause I said aloud why did u hire Shin then to which Shin said the same!๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ญ Oh the irony.. the fallen Pres. hired Shin to clear corruption.

Aw I know Han Soo๐Ÿฅบ I’ll miss Shin too๐Ÿฅบ and what a great finalรฉ it was an awesome watch with some lull bits but solid overall.

  19. this man…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

but he really was loyal to the VP, excluding his “dark fog” era….๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  20. See see see, a very good job by them. I got so tensed for a sec. ๐Ÿ˜‚. I mentioned in my earlier comment that, It will be a good twist If VP turns out to be the main bad guy, but I was not ready for it. Glad that did not happen.

  21. I wonder y he didn’t try to change the autopsy results, y he didn’t try to kill Shin Cha il again and y no one found any drug in the ex president’s body/blood when he first “apparently” fell and went into coma???

  22. Woah woah woah ๐Ÿ˜ฎ, Is it real ? It’s a trap to catch the president right ?

  23. It was no surprise that the President turned out to be the bad guy after all. We were all suspecting it from the start. He is vile, viscious, and selfish to the core. What else could be expected of a man willing to kill his own blood for a presidential position in the company?

Watching the President’s so called “villain origin story” was eye opening to say the least. It sometimes scares me to think what ways a person’s mind can be screwed. Having everything go his way all his life, he became arrogant. This very entitlement is what made everything go downhill for him.

I liked Hansoo and Shin’s little farewell. But Hansoo my man, com’on now. Who told you to go full Shin 2.0? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Though I enjoyed seeing Shin being firm on his values, I do believe we need people like Han soo in the world as well. Cuz it’ll be very dull life otherwise.

  24. Whoever said that what separates privilege from entitlement is gratitude nailed it on the head. Hwang Se Ung thought the rules didn’t apply to him, that just because he was born a Hwang, everything was his, and everyone else would be damned or dead. The irony of it all is that he brought in the very person who would eventually take him down. He underestimated Sin Cha II’s determination, and his dedication to his job. They say never underestimate the determination of a quiet man. In the end, Se Ung’s choices left him with no options but prison, and deservedly so.

What this drama solidifies for me is that no drug, not even alcohol, causes the fundamental ills of society. If we’re looking for the source of our troubles, we shouldn’t test people for drugs; we should test them for stupidity, ignorance, greed, and love of power, as someone once said. I loved how Sin Cha II and Hwang Dae Ung’s yin and yang nature attracted and complimented their characters — as always, Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo did it again. Kudos to all for a thoroughly enjoyable drama.
