1. I don’t mind a slow burn story, but why is it always about that damn ex.

   I know people wants Soga to stand up, but how about Sakae setting borders with his ex clearly as well? It’s okay to be grateful for their help but damn you really gonna let that ex confuse your feelings then kiss you while you’re conflicted? Ah Mizuki, even though I hate you so so so much, your skills at enchanting people is truly admirable.

   Mizuki wants Sakae’s happiness? I mean after rejection, Kanda helped Sakae get close to Soga, not forced herself to Sakae. I think that’s what giving happiness should be. Mizuki is just doing all that for himself and himself alone.

   What are the chances that even if Soga and Sakae becomes official, this ex still would not stop chasing Sakae?

   Personally, if I’m Soga, I wouldn’t even see it as a challenge that I need to step up and claim what I want, instead I would be like “I like you, but I would rather not be involved in this ‘war’ whatsoever. You are not a prize to win. Remove that leech yourself. Instead of dealing with you getting confused when your ex shows up, I’d rather go back to Tokyo and die of sadness or something.” Oops I laughed so hard when I typed this. I didn’t even know where these came from LMAO Soga is definitely not thinking like this LOL.

2. SPOILER… I love how Soga acknowledged his confusion but refreshingly said he wouldn’t run away from his feelings from the start of the ep. He needed time to process – a gem comment🥰 Also loved when Soga was being proactive and trying to openly show his feelings despite his initial confusion and uncertainty of what he was feeling for Sakae, being presumably straight in all before this, meaning making it harder for him to decipher what he’s feeling for Sakae. His “… I also want to see your face, Sakae-kun” later on in the ep was so forward and unexpected to hear given his more timid personality. But add his feelings of inadequacy/ insecurities as a divorcee and his more reserved, introverted nature overall, and it’s more than a tough challenge and war for Soga to win against Mizuki😓 Mizuki is an extrovert with a capital E and also a shark. Soga a quiet goldfish in comparison. I feel bad for him bc not everyone is able to easily fight for what they want and can’t just flip the switch when needed. It’s like asking an extrovert who always speaks their mind freely and easily to say absolutely nothing when they highly oppose something. I also felt bad for Soga with the added work pressures and demands that didn’t help the situation at all – the stress of deadlines truly are a pain😏 I hope Sakae doesn’t fall deeply into that trap Mizuki is setting again bc Mizuki has proven multiple times that he’s not the right choice, heck even how they met was a red flag😔 He was caught cheating by his then boyfriend. Mizuki has been running away from commitment bc he’s scared and more or less admitted to his own shortcomings, but it felt like manipulation to get what he wants. It could be that Mizuki truly missed and loves Sakae and that’s why he came back but he’s coming across as opportunistic, getting something from each time he just happens to be there to help. Personally, I don’t trust him and he’ll likely flee and hurt Sakae again if Sakae gives him a second chance. You don’t treat “special” people the way Mizuki has treated Sakae. It feels like he has an ulterior motive to everything he does for Sakae, he gets something out of it and it’s not just love. Meanwhile, Sakae is a weak to all of Mizuki’s charms😟 *SIGH* 🙈

4. Slight moment of relief when you realize this is a 10-episode drama, as opposed to the usual JBL 6-8 episodes….

   Why? Because that is the only relieving thought of getting me through this new nonsense that is going on or about to go on!

   Because what do you mean with this episode!?!? (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
