Synopsis: A detective trio comprised of mind-reading expert Qin Huo Le, the always composed and steadfast captain Song He and the quirky forensic doctor Fan Xiao Fan, who work together to explore 8 bizarre stories.
There are people who gradually turn into demons after experiencing injustice, stare at the abyss for too long, and the abyss stares back; there are people who tragically sacrifice themselves in order to attain justice; there are people who receive punishment for their mistakes without knowing what they did wrong, they repeat their wrongdoings even at the expense of hurting others; there are people who act respectable under the sun but turn into monsters in the moonlight who take advantage of the innocent to fuel their crazy obsessions…
Each of the eight stories depicts a confrontation between good and evil.
