  1. This is my highlight of the week. Similar to KinnPorsch season two year ago. It was a wet summer 😀 (I was sweating from anticipation XD)

  2. When I see the cute couple cup …I have feelings that it’s going to break😢 …but not this fast 😅😂..

I hope after this joe distance himself from Ming ….if he still put himself with him and ignore…than Joe is idiot….😅

And I think because of tong attitude Joe got role and become actor….but tong career go down….and killed him in stunt scene….

Sister can tell in one look that he is happy with Joe and dating him …but can’t tell that he is sad because of her …and he like tong 😂😂😂

Next ep will be more past and some regret of joe ….and Ming realising his feelings… And back to present…

12:20 director – I will send your acting video to industry producer

Director no need of this….he is already playing main role in this series…and I have feeling that he is now going to be main lead in many upcoming series…😂😂😂

Poom has done fabulous job in this acting… dialogues accent… everything…

( PS – I didn’t come across any tik tok of poom up ships…or anything related to series…🫤…
Poom up is good pair but I personally don’t ship them…I just want to see poom and up in different series with new face or together…😊)

I am eager to see more colours of Sol he is mysterious for me ….😅😂😂

  3. This situation is SO wrong and awful!!
How can he allows himself being treated despicably and accept it? Words fail me.
The only moment of kindness towards Joe was peeling Prawns for him.
And even… He had to say some negative thing
Ming accepts the gift and belittles Jo just to hurt him!!
The sister should just stop spewing bullsh!t! Where did she see a happy Ming?
Since the beginning of this series he has been pulling his macaque face!
She knows that her brother wants to f*ck her boyfriend and she tries to push Ming into Jo’s arms for her peace of mind!
*Even if he only fell in love by seeing a back. (which he thought belonged to Tong) until proven otherwise: That didn’t
change the fact that he is in love with Tong and not Jo.
So that why he likes to take Jo from behind because there would be a resemblance?? This Ming belongs in the trash!!
And I don’t F*cking care about his moods PERIOD!!!

  4. Oh come on, Joe at least you’ve gotten your sh*t together and run away from those crazy motherfukckers!!! Ming and Tong are so mean like do they even have any humanity left for Joe? LIKEEE i honestly ship Sol and Joe more since the beginning like wtf 😭😭

  5. Honestly this series is going to ruin our hearts!!

First, you know a relationship is f****d when its happiness is controlled by the emotions of one partner and the worst part is Joe doesn’t even realize it. Two I really want to sympathize with Ming but its never guaranteed that the person you like likes you back and technically when you think about it its Joe’s back that he saw…. so technically its Joe he liked…..right?

I ❤❤the Actor playing Joe. His ability to capture Joe’s emotions through his facial expressions *chef’s kiss* and the Actor playing Ming….I ❤ to hate him. Stellar acting from the two of them!!!

And now we wait for next Friday which won’t come fast enough. Honestly I’m jealous of guys that get to watch this in one sitting…..Not fair!!

  6. So I’m guessing next week Joe is going to take up the dangerous job his friend talked about and that is where his life as Joe ends. It’s frustrating having to wait every week for an episode but honestly I rather wait every week than wait 12 weeks for it to be completed and then to watch it. Meanwhile I’m watching K-drama, D-drama, Thai-drama till the next episode of this serie.

  7. Why aren’t they showing that Ming cooks and do things for Joe too?… He’s the one who cooked those prawns or shrimp in the novel. Y’all Ming actually knows how to cook and He’s a great cook. When he was studying abroad he hated the idea of a stranger entering his space so he did the cooking and chores himself.

  8. Good thing Ming’s mask was taken off sooner than I expected!! 🙄Joe must be devastated now! It was for his best, though!! Looking forward to Ep.4 to see how Joe is gonna react to all of that!! 😎

  9. Whenever Ming is with Joe and Tong isn’t in the picture, there is a softening towards Joe. Until Tong ends up in their space, ends up dominating it in his own way via Ming’s one-sided feelings and Tong having more of a presence in Ming’s life due to dating May. I’m really glad Sol was there and read the room and got Joe out of there quickly.

Though my favourite scene is when Joe drops both mugs. Because in the beginning he was the only one who felt more into making their relationship domesticated when Ming wasn’t into it. And it seemed like Ming was actually willing to give it a try before Tong and May interrupted them. But that was still Ming using Joe as a distraction.

However seeing the mugs with their names engraved gave Joe that rising hope that they’re moving somewhere. Until Ming called him Tong. Until the illusion of having an actual relationship with Ming shattered and broke like those two mugs. @ Joe – it’s time to wake up baby.

  10. This episode covers both Joe and Ming’s disillusion.

Ming’s hot and cold attitude continues puzzling Joe’s significance in their lives after living together for a long time.

My only thought of the X-mas dinner is why choose his family’s establishment to dine? Of course there’s a high probability of crossing Tong and Mae.

As we all have seen, Tong does not like to be in many shoots when he knows Joe could stand in for him. Thus, Ming doesn’t know that he had mistakenly fallen for Joe’s back figure from the beginning. Too bad that Ming will know about it too late.

It’s sad that Joe thought Ming had brought him the best X-mas time which turns out to be the nightmare that he mentioned at the end of the first episode. 😭

Aside from the main couple, I suspect Tong has an ulterior reason to marry Tong’s sister.

  11. SPOILER… Well now we know how and why Joe likely lost his life and no one was talking about it. Too bad he didn’t heed the warnings to stay away from that unlicensed production company luksus pay trap😏

So Tong got the top title in today’s ep. except for that final scene🤬
Tong really is beyond lazy, cocky and entitled! He really had Joe feeling like he stole his job, which was ridiculous!🙄 The pretentious D**K doesn’t want to work just get paid and get all the accolades. Please, it’s Tong that should be saving his reputation not Wut and everyone else. Ugh! I was so infuriated by that😬

It’s sad that Joe didn’t understand or never got the memo that being too nice and thinking of others all the time can be a real hindrance in getting yourself ahead in life. I’m glad the others still saw the gem he is and gave him a shot as more than a stand-in. That doesn’t always happen like that irl😌

And the way Tong just assumed Ming was there for him at the afterparty like the lap-dog Ming is🐶 And saying, “Follow me” out the bathroom👀 My god! Ugh! That bathroom scene was with all types of tension and levels of toxicity between them. Ming treats Joe the way Tong treats him, and Joe is left to lick his own wounds.😭

I’m sorry, I know these writers tried to humanize Ming more this ep but NO, I just could not do it✋❌🛑 I was laughing when he was crying looking and ripping up the picture with the BACK of Joe NOT Tong. Like, what?!👀 He needs therapy🙏 I wasn’t laughing at his pain bc it’s real to him but the absurdity of his back obsession🙈 To the point that he didn’t even have or want a frontal picture of Tong who he loves🙇‍♀️ And it even looked like it was Joe he fell in love with not Tong in the first place. That’s insane!😯

Oh the devastation, pain and disappointment on Joe’s face at the end of the ep when he realizes why Ming was so upset and crying. That’s gut-wrenching pain right there😫 He got the “best gift of his life” followed by that?! THE PAIN!!!😭😭😭 I think Joe cancelled Christmas for the rest of his life after that. AFTER WATCHING THAT I MAY NEED THERAPY!🙈 But good Joe knows the truth now👍

P.S. I’m still loving Sol for what he did at the restaurant. He said, I’m taking my man out of here, lol But seriously, I wish Joe didn’t have pressure from all sides. Sol should just be there for him as a friend now or stay away if he can’t deal with watching Joe be with Ming. He said his piece about how he loves him and Ming is no good, which was valid, now Sol needs Joe to go through whatever painful process and journey he needs to go through on his own. *sigh*😏

    ☑️My Stand-in, Episode 3
😢 Ming, your sister told you that you seems happy now (with Joe)… Why, why did you do that to Joe?! 😭💔

  13. I DONNOT TRUST THAT TONG !! I don’t think he’s in love with Ming’s sister at all but in love with her parent’s wealth which will eventually be passed on to her and her brother. However I do think he’s aware of Ming’s feelings and if I dare to say I think Tong would’ve choose Ming over his sister if their parents weren’t homophobic!!

Tong is jealous of Joe’s and Ming’s relationship but I honestly doubt that he’ll cause Joe’s accident, murdering someone will ruin his career and his marriage and future. Maybe Joe’s accident is just an accident. After being called “Tong’s stand-in” by everyone and finally by his crush/”bf-ish”, he wasn’t focused during the scene and he make a mistake that lead to his death..

  14. So let me get this straight, Ming fell in love with Tong after seeing a scene from his movie. But it’s an action scene so chances are, Joe was actually the one that did the scene and who Ming fell in love with.

Tong can’t really act and has been running a sham. He intends to marry up but to keep up the charade, he needs Joe. So, makes sense why he’s threatened about Ming and Joe…or maybe because he thinks Joe is running the same scheme as him – like game recognise game?

Joe finally understands why Ming is into him, which is heart wrenching. Sol trying to snap Joe back to his senses but going about it the wrong way.

What more can I say, I LOVE FRIDAYS!

  15. If that’s how dangerous it is, then I don’t understand why P’Wut would even entertain that idea. That part about an international production. Or maybe Joe really beg him? That’s why I’mkinda confused whythey changed it. In the novel, ìt wasn’t a stuntman job. It was a research documentary.
I’m looking forward how they’ll change that. I do understand that with Joe accepting that job even though it is known to be unsafe based on what P’Jojo said in the early part of the episode.. it shohow desperate Joe is at that time.

Also, wtf MING! I knew it was coming but still it really hurts. Tong is really getting on my nerves and this is not the end yet. Poor Joe getting used as the scapegoat and being forcefully dragged between Tong and Director Pao.

So Joe will die next episode? Can’t wait for the flashback to end. I want to see Ming’s suffering.

I loved how they changed MingMei’s (May) character. She really loves Ming unlike in the novel. She’s also accepting with Ming being gay. I hope they won’t make MingSu bad instead because I’ll really wreak havoc. May looks so happy with Tong, I feel bad that Tong is only using her. I hope they won’t make it that Tong loves May because I need to keep hating him.

  16. Even though it was heart breaking 💔 for Joe, I am happy that he finally knew that Ming treated him as Tong’s stand in. Does that mean the accident would happen in the next episode and we get to go back to the present time?

A plot twist. Ming was in love with “Tong” after seeing Joe’s back and his action scenes when he did the stand in for Tong. Hence, all along, Ming “fell in love” with the wrong man. But didn’t he know that Tong didn’t really participate in all high risk and action scenes? 🤔

Even Ming’s sister could tell that Ming was happy when he was with Joe (even though her observation might not be the most reliable since she didn’t notice that her brother liked Tong for years 😅), and Ming did want to spend Christmas with Joe. He didn’t mind not spending Christmas with Tong and couldn’t wait to get out of the restaurant. I don’t think it was just because his sister was there. He was naturally attracted to Joe not just because of his back, but because he was the man he fell in love with years ago even though he didn’t know it yet.
