1. I too was skipping a lot towards the end. IMO the the insert of the second female in love with ML, the bitchy lawyer was unnecessary and they wrapped bringing down Deng Ming in last few minutes, where we should’ve enjoyed a romantic honeymoon.

   A lot of nice characters, very enjoyable. Some teaching moments. Great comedy, special shout out to Bao Rui and the third couple.

   Loved ML, loved FL (despite not being a fan at the beginning). I’m happy.

2. Wait! Is this how they end the series? Noooo… I can’t believe the spoiler circulating online is actually the last scene. I personally need more of their story.

3. I loved the show! many interesting legal cases. Love the two leads. They are both adorable. I really enjoy watching her warm him up. And normal parents! And the cutest apartment ever. And his castle wasn’t bad, either. And the fields of zinnias and verbena. Just gorgeous. All in all a gem of a show, and a lovely, funny cast. Every bad guy got their due except the egg throwing, cheap nasty elder who wanted everything for free. ML should have taken her to court.

4. The drama was a 5/10. Cutting all the unnecessary scenes, plots and dragging, a 16 episodes story should have been so much better. It was a nice ending tho. Not on my “rewatch it later” list but it was good to pass the time while waiting for something better.

5. they could have just cut short and few unnecessary drags and her career and interests clashes with her bf could have been solved talking rather than taking breaks and breakups! lawyer have gift of mouth if they cant sort out things who will…he was already lacking EQ she could have told him well rather than hot n cold blows …whatever it ended fine

6. It was a cute drama. I would give it a 7/10. I would not rewatch this. The cast was nice but it lacked somethingg. I thought they would have good chemistry and the drama would be ouzing with romance but I guess I was wrong.Good drama though

7. I wish they had not brought in the Witch in White and had her take up a few episodes, I think that time could have been spent bringing down Deng Ming instead.

   They could have come up with another reason to make YaoYao strike out on her own without using the very unnecessary and toxic college classmate with a decade long one-sided love.

   Having the Witch take up 2 or 3 episodes meant that the writer had to use the very last episode to FINALLY deal with that POS who should have been publicly outed as a scumbag rapist abuser a long time ago.

   I would have rather we had the last episode deal with the two leads reconciling towards marriage, maybe have a nice formal proposal or even could have gone the funny route of him writing out a formal contract with him basically giving her everything if she’d agree to marry him and having it sent certified mail or something…idk. I would have just prefered more romance in the last episode and less focus on a swine of a character.

8. My first 🥇 best drama in 2024, Love all the casts. Oliver is so handsome 😍 I want to give applause to Bao Rui and his confidence is over the top 😅 (boss’ s favorite person).

10. Started for ML and watched it for Bao Rui. this show was missing something…what it lacked in romance department it made up with the comedy. I loved the camaraderie and trust the friends had…YF TY BR all were great supporting cast. I hope to see more of the guy who played BR he was so goooooood at being a clueless bumblebee. adorbs! SLs were also great, I remembered WJ’s little dimple from moonlight and valentine and its still cute lol

    overall, in wise words of Jisoo – “Not bad but not good”

11. Well, I just super-ultra skipped from ep 19 to here in a matter of 20-30 min & yeah. I don’t think I missed anything. A story about love, truth, capabilities opportunity & pizza, this series was a huge drag. This is one of the major reasons why I don’t watch Modern RomCom C-dramas often. There’s essentially no plot & they are supposed to be slice of life, but they’re still rather boring.
    For a drama about lawyers they had like 2, I think, cases actually go to court. The rest were settled out of court, but even then most, if not all, of the cases weren’t interesting. Also, why is the sister’s ex the antagonist when he’s so incompetent.
    As for the love story, it’s also really weak IMO. The Leads were simply really attractive & I like the ML from Starry Love. The FL is super pretty & cute & I do like her acting, but she’s really a boring character too. Some of the other characters were okay, the Friend & Sister were also very attractive. And that’s essentially most of the positives of this drama. There’s not a lot I can praise.
    Anyways, I’m glad I did skip through this series mostly & not invested in it. As someone who only skipped, for me it’s a 3/10. It’s not all that interesting & the main attraction is just the actors’ looks. There needed to be way more legwork in writing this series & I hope the actors get to play in better roles next time.
