  4. I understand that Huae’in has been between a rock and REALLY hard place all his life. I also am going to attribute a lot of bad choices to youth for many characters. Huae’in should have never trusted his father, at all, he should know who he is. He also was foolish if he thought the Jin family would be safe if he just didn’t deliver them himself for execution. His lessons are hard, but they are harder on Xiabao because he was a complete innocent and very naive. I do hope he doesn’t forgive quickly because ,no matter what, Huae’in DID betray him, even if he didn’t know he would be tortured, he knew the Jin family would become criminals, including Xiabao.
    Yes, the CP is very obnoxious. He’s clearly a very spoiled teen, and I guess we’ll find out if he’s truly evil or just a hormonal , entitled kid.

  5. It hurts so much seeing Xiaobao in that state. Huae’in’s return means the reconciliation arc is almost near, but after seeing Xiaobao hurt like that, there’s no way I’m forgiving Huai’en, even though he isn’t solely responsible for everything that happened. I also hope they won’t reconcile too quickly.
    Su Yin kinda made it clear in this episode that his relationship with Xiaobao is purely friendship. He is such a loyal friend. And that crown prince was also getting on my last nerve.

    I feel so bad for Xiao Bao, he doesn’t deserve it.
    It was a bit funny how fast Que Siming changed his mind about staying.
    I don’t like the crown prince.

    It seems that Jinbao and Que Siming have some sort of connection?
    Why did the episode end with Huai’en showing up in front of Xiao Bao:(
