Synopsis: Kaibutsu no Kikori follows the journey of fifteen-year-old Koyata (小夜太). After his grandfather passes away, he leaves his home in the country to live in Tokyo. While working as a lumberjack, Koyata discovers a creature known as a kikori. With the help of his friend, Hana (花), Koyata embarks on a quest to find out the truth about the mysterious creature. Along the way, Koyata faces various obstacles, including a powerful organization determined to capture the kikori. Directed by Miike Takashi, Kaibutsu no Kikori tells the story of Koyata’s extraordinary adventure.
