  10. Again, this episode made me go through all the possible emotions…smiling, laughing, giggling, kicking my feet, being shocked, crying, and finally getting traumatised. My heart…the part when they sang Sonaki together?! It broke me…they are really meant to be in every single timeline. Can’t wait for tomorrow~ our SolJae couple ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

  48. So the grandma and taxi driver had nothing to do with time traveling (There were way too many theories about them)… The grandma remembers some parts and feelings. This means that the reason behind the driver’s obsession must also be related to his strong feelings of wanting revenge from Sol and Sun Jae after the first timeline. From his expression, it seems like he isn’t mentally stable (that is besides being a crazy psychopath). So just like the grandma and her dementia, they are feeling and probably remembering the other timelines, but their mental illness is stopping them from remembering everything like Sun Jae.

  62. I somehow felt like tears would come during this scene. We all knew halmeoni would have the answer. Just like she said in this episode, memories are engraved in the soul. No matter how much you reset things and try to make it seem like they never happened, you canโ€™t erase the memories etched in the soul.
    I’ve seen a few theories from people that are similar to this. According to those theories, in this drama, time slips don’t completely rewrite a person’s life from scratch. Instead, they overwrite the existing life with a new one. Even though the future and people’s lives change through time slips, the previous life doesn’t disappear completely or create a new multiverse. The changed life subconsciously affects them. This theory explains a lot of situations. Sol changed the past through the last time slip to prevent meeting Sun-jae, but they didn’t mention changing anything else. Yet, most charactersโ€™ lives turned out quite different from their original ones. It resembles the changes Sol made through her previous time slips. Taesung became a police officer, Sol’s friend got married to her brother while still working, and her brother won the lottery with the number Sol gave him in the third time slip, not the fourth. Also in episode 8, Sun-jae knew exactly which floor Sol’s apartment was on because the original Sun-jae had watched her go in. And even though dying could be scary, the reason why the young 20-year-old SJ could say he was okay with it was because his love for Sol had unconsciously built up and deepened over several lifetimes. (In the original timeline, he couldn’t express his feelings at first, but after the first time slip, he expressed his feelings. In the second one, he confessed directly, and by the third, they became lovers.)
    Some might say the writer didn’t need to kill off the 20-year-old Sunjae or erase his memories of meeting Sol, and that he could’ve just waited to reunite with her in 2023. But if they did that, the original SJ, who started all this and was tormented by guilt until he was helplessly murdered, would never have been saved. By having him regain all his past lives’ memories, the original SJ could finally escape the sorrow of not being able to save Sol. Even though he lived different lives, it shows that all Sunjaes are one, and this was the only way to save the og SJ.

    In today’s episode, the moment when he finally regained all his memories made me feel both sad and happy at the same time. This is such a great drama. It’s so sad that itโ€™s ending tomorrow. I really hope they wrap it up well and give us a happy ending.

  70. This scene was directed so beautifully well. The overwhelming rush of emotions the moment each and every memory came back, explaining everything he’s been feeling seeing Sol everytime. I could feel it through the screen, And Kudos to him for portraying this so well as well โฃ๏ธ

  73. Sunjae is way too clingy man. Like how can someone be that persistent??? Sometimes I wanna put him in my pocket, sometimes his clinginess makes me tired. And Sunjae trying to copy that “HAH” from goblin, ehhhh doesn’t sound very good.
    I will just say it, even if I get a lot of hate. I binge watching all the missing episodes yesterday and today and this drama is good. The storyline is engaging, their chemistry is good, acting is good, but mannnn the sense of humor is so so so so so bad. I can count the scenes I laughed in my one hand and the scenes would still not fill it. The scriptwriters should seriously do some research on that. The “comedy” tag just doesn’t suit it at all. I watched this for the story, yes, but I won’t not complain about things I didn’t like.
    ARGHHHHH Why am I only seeing bad things. Probably because a lot of people rating too high lol. I tend to do that when some dramas get high highlights like this. Don’t mind me.

  82. I will always have the biggest love for shows that follow through their motifs right to the end (avoiding that final kdrama trope saved my temper too). It would be crazy if he remembers all the timelines but those eyes will never lie. Loved the little bit of Grandma comforting too and the final ep better give us excessive doses of love to make up for the pain. I want to see them be hilarious losers when they try too hard and match made in heaven when they don’t just one last time.

  95. Sol is a LOT stronger than she thinks she is. Carrying the guilt of failing to save the man she loves, deliberately choosing to detach herself from him to protect him, locking all their sweet memories deep in her heart and acting indifferent in front of the person she is dying to be with – it takes a LOT of strength to go through all these hardships!! It’s sad to see that only in her sickness does she let out what she is hiding in her heart and becomes vulnerable. I love how much she is protective of Sun Jae, their love for each other knows no bounds!!

    WhileI am glad that Sun Jae got his memories back, making him stand in the road for us to get a heart-attack was cruel, you writers!! what’s worse is that all I can think at that moment is “You’ve gotta be kidding me, not this again!!!”. The taxi driver should have been dealt with in this episode which still isn’t case!! That is my only beef with the writers.
    When Sun Jae kept calling her “Ms.Sol” instead of Sol-ah, my heart was breaking to pieces ๐Ÿคง but thankfully sol-ah came back!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  103. To everyone who says the taxi driver is just a psycho, he may not have any motive for going after Sol and SunJae… if this indeed becomes the case, it would make him the most stupid character ever written. Every villain has a story and a psycho has more reasons to be one.

    The last good kdrama I watched that had a terrific villain was Vincenzo. Jang Junwoo was the epitome of a psychopath mind. He seemed invincible but was conscious of Vincenzo’s prowess, he knew he had a formidable opponent and yet was psycho enough to carry out his plans. If a powerful psychotic villain like Jang Junwoo can have a motive for going against Vincenzo and hurting Cha Young, this taxi driver should have at least ONE reason for his deeds, given that he is nothing in front of Jung Junwoo! Him being all mute and going around with just a knife looks so stupid now that it should have been a piece of cake to bring him down in the first half of the drama. But what’s funny is we are in the last week and all the police force, the detectives are failing to catch him and put behind bars!

    Taking 16 episodes to defeat a psycho like Jung Junwoo makes complete sense…
    But doing that for Kim Young Soo… Naah that’s sheer waste of time

    Since, time travel is the central theme of this drama and if they need the villain to remain alive and free till the last ep, they should have made him worthy of doing that. Whatever scenes he had until now were all him chasing after Sol and killing SunJae randomly out of nowhere. Both the hero and the villain here should have been made more powerful opponents of each other
