Synopsis: “Kyokugen Fufu” is a drama that follows the lives of three married couples, each with their own struggles and revealing the true nature of their husbands. In the first chapter, “The Case of the Funakoshi Couple”, Momoko is a devoted housewife to her sadistic husband, Takahiro, who treats her more like a housekeeper than a partner. Chapter 2, “The Case of the Tamagawa Couple”, focuses on Anzu, a career woman facing fertility issues, and her narcissistic and unreliable husband, Naoki. The final chapter, “The Case of the Hokuto Couple”, tells the story of Aki, a mother whose uncooperative husband and family enforce traditional gender roles, leaving her with all the household duties and childcare responsibilities. Adapted from the manga series by Kizuki Akira and Sato Nanki, “Kyokugen Fufu” consists of 10 episodes and airs on Fridays.
