   The pieces are lining up and in place. This calm, lovely sweetness we have had the last couple episodes…they are about to end… I hope the villagers don’t get caught in the crossfire… they are all so kind and gave our leads both a taste of what life could have been…

Now good crown prince gonna also be a big problem who entered power just because of woman in his delusional feelings same like jinghe older brother who wants the General to be his princess. many innocent people are still going to die if these two duo choose to fight one man hope that village survive it’s so peaceful and has lead jingjae to know how much he loves Mei Li not him stopping the brother sister allegations to were married couples thanks to Wie who opened his eyes 😂

4. I disliked the xiyan prince from the very beginning, now I hate him and seriously why he needs to interfere .
   I expected a much more darker story and romance … something like eternal brotherhood not in the sense of the fighting and blood but the scheming and plotting..
   I am enjoying this village life stuff but still it should have been much more intense and darker…
   Murong Jinghe and Mei Lin both are supposed to be more grayish and not all good guys and cutesy… well cute Jinghe is nice too…
   I prefer the untold or unspoken developing romance between the snowy night ml and fl though..
   Yan fei and Emperor reminds me of old dramas where fl gained the upper hand in harem. Wu Jinyan in Story of Yanxi Palace was really good. I am still waiting to see her with xukai in a historical..

5. They Need to leave that village before all those innocent people gets murdered off. The cp is no joke, and we all kw he will burn that place to the ground.
   Nuf Respect for the general, but pressure is coming from all angles, she dont stand a chance of keeping her stance. I don’t want her to marry that guy, his downfall becomes her downfall and shes too great of a woman to lose all she achieved because of a forced marriage.

It really bothers me in Cdramas when they decide to sent the main couple to peaceful village or a cave or make one of them have amnesia so they can eventually fall in love and live the romance away from everyone else. These two grew up and lived their entire lives surrounded by scheming people and horrors so it doesn’t make sense for their love to start and grow in a complete opposite environment, once they go back to the real world, that love will be so weak that it can actually harm them!
   Personally, I would’ve preferred if the romance was mixed in the action, the spark should’ve been ignited amid the battles they are both fighting. The sudden change in the tone of the drama to a fluffy romance doesn’t fit at all ..

7. This series has put me between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, I want the ar*e#ole of a CP to get the general so that he is distracted and leave our lead couple alone but, on the other hand, I want him to never get his happy ending.

   The dude has killed so many people, just because he was jealous of his little brother for his mother’s love and the general’s. And now, he wants to trick her into marrying him as soon as possible, to make sure Jing He won’t resurface and destroy his chances for ever? I need to see justice served. It’ll take a long time, I know, but he’s just so abhorrent, I can’t tolerate his scenes. I fast FW a lot of them.

9. Jing He going all cutsy in the back mountains 😄 … he is free from the great weight of being a prince and general and being perpetually set up and hunted down by his vicious crown prince brother … Liu Xue Yi makes the transformation effortless … and oh my, those dimples when he smiles 🙌🥰

   The Xiyan Emperor … dangerous in his superstitions … his heir apparent dangerous in his obsession with Mei Lin

11. luomei about to cave, for someone that naive she’s held on quite nicely though. I think that as childhood friends jinghe could have warned her, even anonymously, about his murderer bro, but he wasn’t even checking for her at all. lool the leads were amusing in this ep, giving Sarah and Abraham.

    this 2ml isn’t harmless…he is in the right drama after all, he just needed some time oooh mei Lin girl watchout! oh I see what they’re doing, its like 1st half, a break w these few peaceful eps, then 2nd half hmm
