51-year-old Rekihiko Tokiya is an excellent detective. While chasing a suspect, he has an accident. He wakes up in a hospital ward and finds that he cannot remember anything from the past 20 years. He cannot recall how he became a detective, as well as the fact that he is divorced. His personality is also changing, the confident detective has become quiet and timid. But his sense of justice is still strong. He resumes work as a detective, but he deals with cases differently than in the past.
