Synopsis: Hiroshige Akihisa, an employee at a karaoke company, reflects on the past 30 years of the Japanese music industry during an interview. However, when asked about his high school days, he is thrown off guard as he had suppressed his memories from that time. It is revealed that 29 years ago, on March 20, 1995, Akihisa experienced the traumatic Tokyo subway sarin attack which resulted in the death of someone he knew. This event drastically changed his outlook on life. During this time, Akihisa’s classmate Suzuki Shotaro, whom he wasn’t close with, questioned him about living a meaningless life and dying without purpose.
